Mapping with/in

A satellite image can be understood as a more honest representation of a landscape than an O.S map. Although not as useful for orientating oneself in relation to specific features, the satellite image has a different purpose, it is capturing the landscape at a certain moment in time. By drawing this image a better understanding of form, process, texture and boundary can be achieved. The process of drawing forces a considered representation of details and characteristics that O.S maps do not include.
